5 out of 5 stars Great monitor   March 6, 2010
We have several Samsung monitors. I upgraded from a 22" 226BW to this monitor for more space and it's just about perfect. It displays easily two word processing pages at 100% in its native resolution. I've tried a larger monitor and it was actually too big, requiring more head movement to focus on the corners. The image quality is great and brightness is fine. Setup was easy.

5 out of 5 stars Great monitor for a PC gamer   February 12, 2010

I upgraded to this from my old HP system because of the fact that I purchased a new computer. As a PC gamer, I really appreciate how beautiful everything looks on this. I gotta say though, it takes some getting used to when going from a really bad monitor to this particular beauty! Simply wonderful! A+++

5 out of 5 stars Best price!   February 11, 2010

I looked for this same monitor all over the internet and here is where I found it for the best price. The delivery was right on time and the monitor works awesome! It was definitely an unbelievable price for such a top-of-the-line monitor. No complaints whatsoever.

4 out of 5 stars Solid monitor for the price   February 9, 2010

As many have touched on, this monitor isn't the must-have of the season, but if you're on a budget, and looking to break the 20" LCD barrier, this is a solid purchase.

This monitor has decent viewing angles. I've noticed some obvious color changes along the vertical edges when moving my head up and down, but playing with the tilt of the screen fixed most of that. The panel is vibrant, but at an odd resolution. Almost all modern games will support the particular resolution, but it can lead to some oddities with aspect ratio. Watching TV on this thing, however, is amazing. No ghosting, vibrant color, and good image quality on side-to-side from even 20-30 feet away. This also supports HDCP, which means you can do 1080p straight to this from a blu-ray player. I can't express how frustrating that was was when I recently bought a blu-ray capable DVD drive for a PC and couldn't even use the 1080p functionality.

Right now, I'm using this as a transition monitor until later in the summer months, and I'm very glad I did. I upgraded from a Dell 2005FPW, and this is a significant improvement from that particular panel. This may even delay the final jump to a 30" for a little while.

1 out of 5 stars BROKEN AFTER ONLY 1 MONTH   February 8, 2010

Picture started shimmering, sparkling, colors had vertical gaps. I tested it on another computer with another cable - same problem. I sent it in for repairs and it came back with the same condition. That's an incompetent repair department! They wanted me to send it in again. Are they nuts? I escalated the issue to the top and now they've agreed to replace it with a refurbished unit. The bottom line is poor quality control, a poor repair department, and poor customer service.
